How do I rent The Village Club?

Only current members can rent The Village Club at the "members only" discounted rate. In order to secure a date:  you will need a signed contract, rental fees and the security deposit required. The club rental coordinator will help you with forms and scheduling. The Village Club year runs from June 1st through May 31st but you can rent the club at anytime as long as its available on calendar. Now of course members will always get priority over non-members. If you choose to join - Memberships are active for 1 year based on join date. If your rental date occurs in a future year outside your membership period just contact the rental coordinator at rentals@thevillageclub.com who can still reserve that date. Click here to join online now.

How much does it cost to become a member?

Membership Vary and are annual regardless of what time during the current season you become a member. Your membership starts on your join date and renewed 1 year later. There will be no prorated membership dues. Example, today is March 1, 2018 and you would like to rent on May 1, 2018. You still pay for membership plus the corresponding rental, cleaning fees and deposit. See more about our membership levels by clicking here.

What is included in my rental?

The Village Club is a BYOE (bring your own everything) establishment. If you want to use the basement/bowling lanes for your event, there is an additional rental charge of $100.  We would need to arrange for an attendant to be present (this is someone we have trained on minor repairs and “knows the system”). You would pay the attendant directly that day/evening ($50 for the first 2 hours (min.) and $25 per hour thereafter). If an attendant is not secured, the basement/bowling remains locked.

Can a member sponsor a non-member for a rental?

No. The Village Club is only available for rent to current members at discounted rates. Non-members must pay non-member rates.

Does The Village Club donate rentals?

No.  The Village Club gets rental donation requests on a regular basis. Our current by-laws do not allow us to donate rental of the club. Even if allowed to do so, it would be very difficult to choose who would get a rental as each charity or cause is special in its own right.

Rules and Restrictions

Be mindful and respectful of the residents that live near and around the club, especially our closest neighbors directly to the north. Please keep windows and doors on the north side of the building closed at all times. Guests shall not be permitted to loiter or congregate on the lawn or sidewalk outside of the Club premises after 10:00 p.m. In addition, guests are not permitted to loiter or congregate in the Grand Avenue parking lot at any time. Please be mindful of not blocking the neighbor’s driveway while you or anyone associated with your event is loading and unloading. See rental closing procedure posted throughout the club to ensure full refund of your security deposit.
